%X The investigation of seabed features and sediment dispersal are important factors in the mapping of morphological change in coastal areas, especially in areas that have anthropic interventions, such as those occurring in the region adjacent to the Pecém Port Terminal (TTP). In this sense, remote sensing products that allow the mapping of submerged features present as an effective and low cost method. The objective of this study is to map the submerged sedimentary features and sediment dispersion sectors, along the coastline, to the TTP undersea. The digital image processing allowed zoning of the study area based on the background morphology and the presence of sediments. Currently the TTP is in the process of expansion and a new access bridge has been built, which has been significantly modifying the natural coastal dynamics around the TTP.
